A Little About Me.
Hello. I'm Nicole, mama of three girls. Before I became a doula, I had been serving families for over ten years as an elementary age teacher; 5 years as a Montessori trained head teacher, 5 years teaching in traditional classroom settings, and now homeschooling my oldest two daughters. When I'm not homeschooling or doula-ing, I love traveling near and far. Good food, cookies, and coffee are quick ways to my heart. I love doing all the things with my little family, aka The Bonilla Bunch. Also, a good moms' night out (or in) is one of my favorite ways to let loose and recharge. I recommend finding some like-minded mama friends. They're the best and they're good for the soul!
Recently, I have been getting back into my fitness with walking, sauna sessions, pilates, and yoga. I loved prenatal yoga back in the days of my pregnancies. Again, joining prenatal groups and activities is a great way to connect with pregnant moms and make new mama friends.
Professional Me: I am a certified birth and postpartum doula and a lactation educator who provides Southern California moms and their partners with support and guidance during pregnancy, childbirth, and into new parenthood, helping you feel confident and empowered on this incredible journey.
I am your birth support person, a listening ear, and will help you create a positive birth experience, and will care for you according to your birth choices and needs. Whether you birth in a hospital, a birth center, or have a home birth, I will be there for you during this beautiful and exciting time of growth and transformation.
As your postpartum doula and infant care specialist, I will help you do what matters most: connect with your baby and embrace your new life at home. With the right support and care, the first weeks and months can be filled with moments of joy and peace.

WHAT IS A DOULA:
A doula's goal is to provide improved birth and parenting experiences through compassionate, professional care during labor, birth, and new parenthood. We provide unbiased care and emotional & informational support to guide families every step of the way as they navigate this new life. WHAT A DOULA DOES NOT DO: The doula does not perform clinical or medical tasks, such as taking blood pressure or temperature, fetal heart tone checks, vaginal examinations, or postpartum clinical care. Doulas do not administer medication to your babies. Doulas do not make decisions for you. |
